So this chapter explains what it means being a Child of Misfortune; people with pretty red eyes are dangerous and they need to be toss into the little black mole of Abyss so that they die definitely. Break sure was lucky to have been born later, or so we thought. Was he lucky simply because the stigma of red eyes doesn't exist anymore or was due to the disappearance of the Baskervilles? Afterall, the old woman and the Baskervilles are probably those who made such a fuss about their red eyes.

Besides that, does being a sibling of the next vessel for Glen matter if you have red eyes?
And that reminds me, why can't previous!Glen just drag Lacie down with his own Black Chain? Why wait for Oswald to do the horrible action?

Looking back at Break's flashback when he descended into the Abyss when his clock made a full turn, he didn't turn into a chain as other contractors did. Instead, he remained himself and met Alyss, Vincent and Gilbert, all who are related to the Abyss in a way. Alyss might be the so-called core of Abyss that gained human emotions and conscience, Vincent was a Child of Misfortune who could touch the core of Abyss (Alyss), and Gilbert was the next vessel of Glen. While Break himself, although unaware, might very well be a Child of Misfortune (or Cause, translation inconsistency perhaps? I'll have to reread the whole thing again), hence he ended up reaching the core of Abyss when he fell.

Perhaps Lacie was indeed very important to him.

Based on what previous!Glen said, it looks like the process of transferring Glen to the next vessel takes a long time. He said Raven was to be transferred 'soon'. Looking at Oswald's age, we can probably guess that Gilbert was at the right age for that when he and Vince were adopted and met Alice.

Lacie lied. And Glen didn't see that coming.
Poor Jack's gonna be so traumatized when he sneaks in to find Lacie 2 days after her fall.

Here comes the question, Alice looked like her age was around Gil and Vince, so when was she born? Unless her birth was concealed purposely and Mochizuki didn't feel like introducing her so soon... It's possible that Alice was given birth years before Lacie got dumped into the Abyss and Glen revealed her to Jack out of sympathy, like, 'Don't be sad bout my sis, here have a look at her kid!' lol. Another thing is, we weren't told when exactly did the Abyss turn into a Sinner's place. Was it before/after Alice/Alyss' birth, after they've met Jack, or after the Tragedy of Sablier? Seems like the Lacie-is-pregnant theory is getting more legit, Jack did said that Alice was born from a human's womb...or something like that before...And all credit for all the weird stuff that happens goes to the Abyss.

Those patches on Gil look very much like bruises to me.

Where were Gilbert and Vincent at the moment? My guess from Vin's line, 'they’ll do horrible things to us again…' seems to strongly indicate that they were stuck at some horrible place, yet to be rescued by their masters (Vince's line was actually toned down by Fallen Syndicate's translation, 'we'll be in trouble again' instead of the other 2 versions I've checked).

On a lighter note, this omake is hilarious. 

Whut?! I wasn't even aware that Glen was supposed to have beautiful long eye lashes!!
