【鏡音リン・レンAppend】からくり卍ばーすと【オリジナル】

Hitoshizuku's first Kagamine Append song, Karakuri 卍 Burst (Trick Burst?)!!



Different from Hitoshizuku's usual classical style, we're blessed with a rock music with her first ever Kagamine Append song complemented with a badass story background! xD

Not only does Rin made me feel like crying with her voice, Len sounds absolutely perfect in here!! If I ever need a reason to like Hitoshizuku's Len song, I'll say it's because she always make Len sound mature and manly (unlike in some other music, Len was made to be a high-pitch shota). The transition between Rin and Len never fails to make me get excited thinking of 'Oh YES It's Len's turn!' since Len usually sounds best singing the the first note of his part.

Another evil trick by fate?

Karakuri Burst's story goes like...your typical Kagamine tragedy, twins/pairs were born happily and separated sometime later when they are attached to each other. *Cliche, but who cares? No one, as long as these two continue to suffer from separation.*

One ends up with a mad, I mean, evil scientist/woman and turns into a crazy killing machine.

As for the other one, he ends up with the special police force that tackles evil, which happens to be Miku and Rin's gang.

The battle between the SPF and Evil Miku's gang eventually forces these two to meet up at a certain place for a showdown.
*I find it weird, but interesting, that it is Len (in a Nazi suit) who wields a katana while Rin (in Kimono/Yukata) who uses a pistol*

While it looks like this heart-wrenching fight won't end without spilling some blood, I'm sure every Kagamine worshippers were delighted to see Rin and Len remembering each other from their vague memories. (They have to!!!! How else would they make such a look?? I refuse to believe that someone farted during the epic fight!)

Hence, even though the video itself ended without any clear ending, a happy ending may be, and is probably, expected by their loyal fans.

Characters designs:
Ooooh. Len letting down his hair is refreshing from his usual style.

Rin in her kimono and bandages looks evil even without that creepy smile on her scarred face.

I simply love the details Suzunosuke put into their designs.
For some unknown reason other making them looking badass and hot for Len's case, Len's right eye was blinded when he got the scar on his face and vice versa to Rin. Hence, Len has a badass looking eye-patch on his right eye (which only increases his Bishi factor) while Rin has a crazy Frankenstein-style bandages over her left eye.

A metaphor for both Rin and Len losing each other?
(Len lost his Right eye, Rin lost her Left eye)

Too much Evil Rin, let's have some moe-face Rin to soothe her craziness.

Len's SPF suit design, the Manji sign (卍) may or may not be a reference to the Nazi, but looks like some people find it pretty disturbing.

And here's Kaito, a must have in every piece of Suzunosuke's work!!
Why the sad face Kaito? Did you drop your ice-cream? Was it because you're forced to fight with Miku?

And that's it for now.
Knowing Hitoshizuku's habit, she'll probably compose a sequel for this to continue her unfinished story.
